Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-08-17 · applies to Notelit v0.0.4 on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch
Notelit is built device-first: your notes live on your devices, and the app collects as little as it can. This policy describes what the current version actually does.
1What Notelit stores
- Notes and drawings — the pages you write and draw are stored on your device.
- Settings — language, appearance, and page style are stored on your device.
- iCloud — if you turn on Save to iCloud in Settings → Aioratec Sync, a copy of your notes and files is stored in your own iCloud Drive, under your Apple account. Back up writes that copy on demand; Restore replaces this device's notes with it.
2What Notelit does not do
- No advertising, and no sale of personal data — to anyone, ever.
- No tracking across other apps or websites.
- Your notes are edited entirely on your device and are not sent to Notelit's servers — or anywhere else — unless you turn on sync or Save to iCloud.
3Purchases
Notelit is free. The only purchase is the optional Notelit Pro subscription (custom app icons, Home Screen widgets, and extra pins), billed by Apple through your App Store account. Notelit never sees your payment details — Apple handles the transaction and shares only the subscription status with the app.
4Your choices
- Edit or delete your notes at any time.
- Turn sync off any time in Settings → Aioratec Sync.
- Deleting the app removes the locally stored data described above from that device.
5Changes to this policy
When Notelit's data practices change, this page is updated the same day and the “last updated” date above changes with it. Substantive changes are also noted on the Notelit site.
